University of Technology in Gdańsk
Gdańsk University of Technology continuously expands and enhances its infrastructure, creating spaces that support learning and work in comfortable conditions.
Hushoffice acoustic pods help combat student drop-out, among other challenges.
One of the key objectives behind introducing Hushoffice acoustic pods at Gdańsk University of Technology was to reduce the scale of student drop-out by providing comfortable, quiet spaces that support concentration. These pods enable students to work effectively on projects, prepare for classes and exams, and make better use of breaks between lectures. They also serve as spaces for group collaboration and short conversations, becoming an important part of the infrastructure that supports the educational process.
Hushoffice acoustic pods have been installed across various buildings on the university campus to ensure convenient access for students from different faculties and study programmes. They can be found, among others, in the Main Building, library spaces, the Centres for Nanotechnology and Eco-Innovation, as well as in the Faculties of Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, and Management and Economics.
