University of Agriculture in Kraków
The University of Agriculture in Kraków, committed to improving the accessibility of the educational process and enhancing the overall student experience, has expanded its campus infrastructure with seven Hushoffice acoustic pods.
Barrier-Free Education with Hushoffice Pods
The Hushoffice acoustic pods at the University of Agriculture in Kraków were purchased as part of the project “Education Without Barriers: Modern Solutions for Accessibility at the Hugo Kołłątaj University of Agriculture in Kraków”. They have been installed in selected university buildings, including the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Biology, the Faculty of Food Technology, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Horticulture, and the Faculty of Forestry.
The pods were implemented primarily to support students with specific needs, who may experience difficulties associated with excessive noise, sensory overstimulation, or challenges with concentration in their daily academic activities.
The project was implemented on the initiative of the University’s Office for Support and Accessibility, in cooperation with the University’s Administrative Centre for Project Support and the Regional Development Institute Foundation.

Equipping a university with acoustic pods can form part of a broader initiative to create a modern, accessible, and inclusive academic environment. Such investments are often aimed at providing conditions that support learning, work, and communication while addressing the diverse needs of users.
The implementation of this project at the University of Agriculture in Kraków reflects the institution’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its infrastructure and promote equal access to education across the entire academic community.
This initiative is part of the long-term strategy of the University of Agriculture in Kraków, which aims to create an accessible university, open to diverse needs and committed to fostering equal opportunities in education.
